Partnership and Collaboration
Current Partners. The technical support, training and friendship of people associated with these entities has taken us from a dream to a reality over the past three years.
Businesses and Churches who have donated books, furnishings, in-kind, speaking opportunities and cash donations:
Founders, Members and Donors who have given time, talent and/or finances to see this dream become a reality:
Future Partners. Something as big as this, however, will need other partners to see it become sustainable. Business leaders, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, churches, foundations, national & state suicide prevention agencies will be approached for financial support. Research is needed to examine all the issues related to Alaska’s high suicide rate that impacts the community. Fairbanks alone has one to two suicide deaths a month. The whole community – teams; clubs; mental health; hospitals; schools; churches; artists; universities – must be working from the same script in order to form an “effective safety net” against the needless voluntary taking of life. ARCSP will be an important resource to our community as we link to these strategic partnerships.
